you can also change the text where it says "member" from your profile.. select "edit profile" from the little drop down menu at the top of the page (where it says "change avatar" )

the bit at the bottom of the post that comes automatically every time I post is called a signature. You can add one from the "edit profile" screen which is accessed from the little pull-down menu at the top of the page, just the same as the "member text" I mentioned in the previous post
