Hey there everyone...

Well, the next Sg-1 convention is October 27 and 28.
And I am looking for somebody who is going, who is willing to go halfs
in a hotel room for a few days ( 3 or 4)

Squire, marty's from wyhalla, which is kinda close.

I'll be going to sydney with my whole family even though only my son and I are going to BOBW. So I can't help you on the accommodation front.

One other thing - with the con being at the end of the month, there's a good chance that Allan might go as he should be back from gatecon and hopefully rested enough and financial enough to trek back up to Sydney.

Hey Squire,
I'm going but I'm not sure whether or not i'll be staying overnight or not. I might just be going up for the day. I'll get back to you though when I figure that out.
Apparently if you stay at the Southern Cross Hotel (i think that's where it's held i can't remember) you get a 5-10% discount on hotel price.

i wanna go to the xerts meal, that would be cool... but how social is it? can you go up and talk to the stars?

It is REALLY social. I was talking to some people at the last con who had gone to the cocktail party the night before. It went for a couple of hours and the stars actually mingle with everyone. Teryl even said how nice it was to be able to talk to everyone one on one and she had become friends with many of the people there. So it is pretty close-up and social. Even at the con there was this whole relaxed atmosphere. It was so nice of them to actually take the time to talk properly with you when you got their autographs too.

Ive actually called the Southern Cross Hotel...theyre twin sahre rooms are around $210
a night...split that in half for two people, its only $105 each per night...
If I was to get a single room, its about $190 per night....and I hope to stay for 3 or 4
nights, thats like $600 - $800 !!!! Arrrrggggghh!

Hey Shelby, you know you wanna stay the whole time...GO OOOONNNNN!!
