No, it wasn't Brief Lives that the cemetery rabbit chewed. It was a Penguin Classic of works of Sir Thomas Browne, including Hydriotaphia Or Urn-Buriall, which is even better for a cemetery rabbit to gnaw -- funerary urns.

Hm, best keep the rabbit away from the rest of your books.:)

I couldn't at first but I wouldn't change back now. I much prefer ebooks, just for the convenience of always having something to read on my person.
I now keep about three dozen on my phone and the rest on my kindle and hard drive.

To carry around thirty plus books I'd need a substantial backpack!

Yes, but think about the health benefits of how much it will build up your muscles ! :D

Big fan of Necroposts.

Like many, my reading habits have changed in that i'll predominantly read books on my Kindle and only get the hardbacks of books that i have particularly enjoyed. The most recent one being Adrian Tchaikovsky's Bear Head. Maybe 300 hardbacks in my library. I also recently bought a copy of Iain M. Banks's The Player of Games first edition hardback. It's my favourite book, so i am especially pleased with it.

I still collect Star Wars "Art Of" style books and the novels. I probably have somewhere in the region of 100 SW novels and maybe 500 of the larger format books.

I do ebooks, mainly to see if they are worth getting as a "real book". I have gone down this route because of an incident where I purchased a quite expensive fiction pb based solely on the description and a few reviews. It was one of the "Atlantis" + archaeologists+ quest type genre and it was awful! ( I won't mention the authors name) Basically a rip off of Dan Brown. So now, if a book looks interesting I take advantage of Amazons free trial of Prime (they persist in offering it to me on a regular basis) and get it for nothingI have thinned my collection somewhat by replacing worn out pb with collections and omnibus editions which generally occupy less shelf space - example all of ERB's Barsoom books in three volumes instead of 11 seperate books
