okay ik not sure if this has been discussed but anyhows.
who has written to one of the sg1 actors/actresses and gotten a reply? i know ive written to amanda tapping a received an awesome signed photo from her!! yeh so i was just windering if anyone else has or from any of the others???????

Although some actors still reply to their own fan mail most have help and studio addresses to write to.

Maybe I should send a letter to RDA, maybe I'll get a scrummy pic of him to drool over :>

if this address is a residential address of Amanda, please don't post it here as it will be removed. If, however, it is the office addres or equivalent that is fine.

one of these SHOULD work, bear in mind i've never tried them but i'm sure they'll forward them...one hint, you might want to put the actor's name on the envelope so the clerk in the mail room doesn't have to open it or it gets re routed somewhere else

sent of my letter

Hey guys,
I just sent off my letter yesterday to Amanda using the address for Burnaby.
I wrote I nice letter about how I enjoy her work and wishing her all the best, plus, I included a a framed, cartoon sketch I had drawn a while ago (of Sam leaping through the stargate to be confronted by Ralph Wiggum in Springfield).
I hope she likes it

I finished off the letter by asking if I could plllllllllease have her autograph.
So if I do get one, I'll let you guys know.

Just for the record, if anyone was thinking of sending anything, it cost me £4.85 to send my picture/letter from England to America.

Well, the glass frame was a little heavy.
The woman at the PostOffice said I should send the picture and letter seperately, but I argued that the letter had to arrive with the picture.
She then went on to weigh the package and look at the address I was sending it to.
"What's Stargate?" She asked me
"It's a big ring of water" I replied - she wasn't amused! "It's a tv show" I then said - to which I got an even funnier look.

I hate the postoffice! Mine's one of them "little english town" postoffice's that smell like wee.:( ;)

Yeah my local postoffice is like that...

When I sent my letters to MGM and Showtime it cost me around 40pence each which I thought was really cheap!!!

Is your's also fully of OAP that seem to have nothing better to do than stand around looking at the cheap/tatty sellection of BirthdayCards that the PostOffice has to offer?
Also, does it have one of those old charity box/models that have been there since you were little?

Actually 4op isn't that bad, but I'm not intending on sending anymore framed pictures again! (I was thinking of maybe writing to MS)

To MS

Oh I don't know Pam,

Perhaps you could start MS's by saying you're a fan of the show and you admire/enjoy his role in it?
Then maybe you could go on to say how attractive he is and you dream about him floating through your window every night.
That one day, you hope to meet him and then become his bride.
You'll move into a beautiful house with a big old garden and get a dog - probably a golden retreivor.
After a few years renovating your home, you will decide to have children, 2 boys and a girl, named Robert, Paul, and Ashley.

Then you shall live happily ever after, playing in the garden with the children and the puppies - until the kids grow up.
Robert will become an accountant, Paul will follow in his fathers footsteps, and Ashley will become a dancer... with a secret drug addictition, which you will never learn about.

After this, you can conclude your letter by asking for an autograph.

What do you think Pam?:D ;) :D

Well, nic, I see you are living up to your names!:rolly2:  :rolly2:
