Really?

I love to fly I think its great;)

I love flying too...... for me the excitement of the trip begins just as I leave the house. The flying is all part of the adventure. You never know who you're going to meet....

I guess lots of people worry about the safety aspect, but when you think of the number of planes that take off every day and compare it with the number of accidents, the odds are still very low that you'd be on the one that went down. I've found the best thing is to not dwell on that aspect.

 :D

I'm actually ok with planes... sort of!
It's that first couple of minutes it takes to take-off.
my main fear is the thought of plumitting down to earth.
We had horrible turbulance last year on the way to Greece. My mate Stokoe burn himself with tea, but my situation was even worse.... I was busy in the toilets!!:eek4:

Just like me there...I get really excited when I'm off to the airport to go on holiday the only down bit is coming home:(

Pam

and the most down part of coming home is when it's 3am in the morning and you find your flight has been delayed!:( :(

Oh, well, that's what happens when you go on holiday charter flights! Scheduled flights aren't as likely to have that sort of trouble. I never fly chartered flights. Last year I travelled to North Carolina and when I got to the desk to check in they told me that the flight had been cancelled. But within 5 minutes they had me on another flight, BA instead of America Airlines. They had to fly me via Atlanta and then on to Raleigh-Durham in North Carolina, but everything was arranged. if that had been a holiday charter, I'd still be sat there! Scheduled flights tend to cater for the business passenger, so they try harder to get you on another flight, because next time you might choose another airline. Charter flights know you're a captive audience so they do whatever they want.

 :D

and therefore schedule flights are more expensive than charter flights... or so Im inclined to believe!:D ;)
