Personal lives

Yes, please... let's let the topic of Michael's person live remain just that... personal. He's had too much garbage to put up with this year and the poor guy needs a rest. :(

Umm guys........ I think that the original question and subsequent answers were fairly light and humorous and it would have died a natural death all on its own.

And I'm pretty sure that the gentleman in question is big and intelligent enough to fight his own battles.

What IS it about this man that makes everyone so twitchy?

He's just a guy.... he goes to the toilet, drools on his pillow in his sleep, burps and breaks wind just like the rest of us poor mortals.

I find his private life about as interesting as the inside of my toilet....... and certainly not interesting enough to warrant the fuss made about him.

Let's put this in perspective huh?

:D ;) mmm...well said Anni!
But i must admit, because it MS we are talking about, his life to me is more interesting than a toilet!

Oh dear, we do have a sad little bunch here don't we?

I wonder if he realises the extreme passions that he arouses in the breasts of all of these Daniel fans.

Darlings....... YOUR lives should be the most interesting things to you, not the life of some pretty little boy that you're never likely to socialise with. The very fact that he made a beeline for Lexa Doig, who is a lovely looking girl but just about the most vapid creature I have seen for a long time, should tell you something about his dubious taste in women....

Oh well, I guess there's nothing wrong with you dreaming, after all it's what keeps people alive and kicking, just as long as it doesn't become some kind of substitute for living your life.

sorry but my life does not revolve around MICHAELS see i can tell the actor from the character but that is why his private life does not intrest me in fact you are the one who just now brought up the person to whom he is dating!! so i do have a life, i just think as a fan we should respect his privacy, if there is something wrong with that then fine, but i really could care a less what he does when he is away from the studio, i am and have always said this i like to hear what goes on behind the scenes i like stuff like that, heck i don't care what all the actors on the set do when they leave i respect all the actors on sg1 privacy if they are the ones who make it public knowledge then hey more power to them but as a fan i am sorry if i respect someones private life!!

Michael and the list

It sounds like all opinions have been pretty well covered: interest and non-interest in Michael's personal life.

Let's move on from here. There are a lot more aspect to the man then his after hours.

For example, his acting career. Anyone have a play they'd like to see him in and what character would you cast him as?

I'd love to see him do 'Henry V' and, of course, as, the King. It would be interesting to see how his inturpertation of the part might differ from Kevin Brannagh. Or 'Much Ado'... again to see the actor's contrast.

LOL.......... it seems to me that you're the one getting upset as is indicated by your posting.

Never mind... the fact is that none of us appear to have very fulfilled lives, otherwise we wouldn't spend so much time on these forums and obsess over people we are never likely to meet from something as minor as a TV show.

Nobody is knocking Michael, just making 'speculative' observations based on the constant reports and speculation that flies around, particularly about this guy.

As for Lexa Doig........ for heaven's sake, I defy ANYBODY to post on this or any other list or forum and NOT be aware of the statements, stories, reports that constantly come from Rumour Control (which is always out of control), again, apparently mainly over MS.

God, this is boring..... As a total non-Daniel/MS fan I should have known not to post on a Daniel thread!

*sigh* I'll go away and flagellate thoroughly now!

Mea culpa

This is true...so maybe instead of anyone getting upset we should just leave this one here

*runs for cover*

Please don't shout at me anyone:D

rowan,

what i would like to see him in is 'hamlet' because have not seen him in yet so, that is what i would like to see michael in for a play and a comedy would be great to see his comedic side put out there on stage :)

changing the subject because it will just get nasty like row said and not really in the mood to fight about something worth fighting over :)

so i will be the big person and follow row's lead :)

Totally agree...........let's change the subject by all means.

However, Hamlet isn't a comedy........ Something like As you like it, might be a better play for Michael. I think I read somewhere that he spent two seasons doing Shakespeare. Or perhaps Midsummer Night's Dream..... then he could wear some of those delicately draped tunics. That should get everyone drooling away.

 :D :rolly2:

Doing some more treading of the boards should hone his acting skills up a little bit more........

A Mid-Summer Night's Dream

Oh Lord, no. Have him play Puck. A delicately draped tunic is all well and good, but I've seen Puck played bare chested several times.

You're right, so have I, but strangely enough, not in a Stratford upon Avon production.... I wonder if there's a bit of the famous British prudery going on here. I did see a bare chested version in South Africa though.

He is quite a 'Puck-ish' character though..... That sort of gamin mischievous look he sometimes gets in a scene, especially in a 'him and Jack' scene.

;)

mmm...;) :D :naughty:...I'd definitly go see it, if MS was Puck!
