IQ Returns

Has anyone noticed that Jack seems to have more dialogue revealing intelligence since the loss of Daniel?

I recall a complaint some time ago that Jack's character was really being dumbed down -- presumably to ask the questions that we ignorant viewers would ask had we the opportunity.

I haven't seen S5 and only Redemption 1 & 2, but so far Jack seems to be catching on more to this science stuff. Of course there's always the threat that as Jonas makes his presence felt, Jack's IQ will go fishing . . .
 
hmmm, interesting point. now that you mention it, yes, I can notice that & yes I hope Jack doesn't get 'dumb' again.
 
To a certain level it was funny, but in season five he really came across as if he couldn't count to ten...I hope the writers won't write him like in season five...:D :D
