Why do you find this site forum depressing?
And by the way what do you like about carter in the series?
I see her as a kind of intelligent, awkward, lovable scientist/computer geek with a relentless thurst to find out the w5's. She's my fav...
 
what's depressing is that no one talks here
and 4 those reasons are y i chose to have my name carter
but my fav. person is dan but he and carter are tied for frist
 
Filming Location...

Do You Know if the SG1 filming is done mainly in the US or in Canada? Where is the mountain that they use??
 
well it is mostly filemed in canada
i'll take a guess that like 98% of it's filemed in vancouver (or any where les in canada) and the rest in a few various locations around the world or abydos is a pretty good blue screening!
 
No one seems to hang out oin the Canada forum, I'm over in General most of the time. Toronto, yippy the centre of the univers. Origingally from T.O. now in Vancouver. Stargate is pretty much filmed in the GVRD, Greater Vancouver Regional District, including the Tollen home world being filmed at my former university (Simon Fraser). If you wanna know anyones opinion on Carter there's a whole forum on her. See ya around.:rolly2: :blah:
 
so dose anyone know when the rest of season 5 will start showing? We're back into reruns (well the first ep of S5) after seing Wormhole X-treme last week.:(

We Brits are........ Fail Safe showed last night..... but it seemed to be in the wrong order, since all the schedules show that episode as being after Summit/Last Stand. However, this may have something to do with Sky One scheduling in the UK. I have a feeling they may want to show the two parter just before and then just after Christmas.

And here I am Carter..... a Brit in the Canadian forum and you didn't even have to bribe me!

Are you going to Wolf SG4? I am! I'm also signed up to go to "And Evening with Michael Shanks" on Jan 26. I know he's not your fave SG-1 actor/character. I hope I 'm awake on the 26th because my airplane lands about 4 hours before the event! I hope I get out of customs in a timely fashion!

Maybe we can meet? You and I still have to have a drink together!

BTW, I've seen an advanced tape of Summit/Last Stand! They are terrific episodes! No spoilers from me! My lips are sealed!
