Does Anyone Still Hang Out Here?

There are lots and lots of Gou'ald in the two episodes! And SG-1 are there too! :D Action! Fighting! Dying! Tension! Suspense!

Just like the usual episodes, right?

Just as long as it isn't the Goa'uld who are dying. I am getting heartily sick of the easy peasy way this enemy get annihilated. I am getting heartily sick of the sugar sweet SG1 too.

Oh how I pray for a honking great nasty of a Goa'uld to kick their butts from here to kingdom come! I would pay REAL money to see that.

And no....... there might be fighting of a sort, but there is certainly no dying, tension or suspense in any of the offerings.....

They should let poor old Adrian out of his cage to run amok...... perhaps he could give Carter something to remember him by..... or maybe Anubis could.

Now THAT would be an episode. X Rated probably, but it would be worth it.....

I am going to SG4 Xst...... but not the evening with Michael Shanks, however I would love to meet up with you. How long are you staying in dear old Blighty and where?

:D

Anni,

Adrian??? I don't remember who that is.....

My itinery:
Jan 26: xst and 16-year old sister arrive at Heathrow; go to Marriot Heathrow Hotel (which reminds me, I haven't made my reservation yet).
Jan 27: go to Warsaw. My sister and I are visiting another sister who lives in Warsaw. (I have 7 sisters)
Jan 31: xst flies back to Heathrow and checks into the con hotel. I can't remember the name, and I'm sharing a room with a friend so she is making the reservation.
Feb 1-3: go nuts at Wolf SG4
Feb 4: take 16-year old sister for a quick sight-seeing tour of London
Feb 5: xst and 16-year old sister fly home to Vancouver
Feb 6: xst goes back to work so she can pay off the next credit card bill! The 16-year old sister gets to sleep off the jet lag! :D

I guess we can meet at the con. I can meet you on the evening of Jan 31. Are you staying at the con hotel?

LOL........... Adrian is the Goa'uld that Simmons spirited away!

Yes we can meet at SG4..... but I am not staying at the con hotel (the Heathrow Park Hotel), didn't think much of it last time. I am staying at the Sheraton instead. What you need to do is PM me with your real name. I should be over at the hotel in the evening sometime, but I am not a cocktail party guest. My ticket number is 715.....

If we miss each other this time, I will certainly catch up with you in Vancouver in July. I am coming to work on a project with Telus for a couple of months. They're gonna put me in corporate apartments in downtown Vancouver, near Stanley Park I think!

In February I am at the Sheraton Heathrow and my full name is Anne Selby.

;)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERES PEOPLE IN HERE! AND POSTS!!!!!!!!!!!
*faints*

Quick..... catch her someone before she breaks something!!!

It comes to something when it takes a lone Brit to keep a thread posting going, I dunno...... what's the world coming to I wonder?

Anyway...... speaking of Canadians (as we weren't!), I was really impressed with the friendliness when I was in Vancouver. I nearly fainted because people smiled back when I smiled at them! In the UK, if you walk along the street and smile at someone, they just look offended or alarmed (in case you're the local axe-murderer!). Americans like it, but you can see them trying to figure out what your angle is, once they've struggled a bit with the concept of 'you just want to be friends and it isn't the prelude to you pulling out a gun and waving it at them', then they're usually quite at ease!

But the Canadians were lovely folk.....and I have travelled the world extensively!

Is that too much conversation Carter? Should I cut it down it a bit for the next one?

LOL

:D :D ;)

no no no it's ok
that's true tho what you said about ppl:)ing when i was over there in the land of the brits this summer we were all happy (somtimes it wasd a forced smile in concerts) all the ppl there thought us kids were out to get them

Hello Anni and carter

Welcome!

Anni, my real name is Elaine Mah. I just made my reservation at the Radisson where MS will be on Jan 26th. I hope I make it on time. My plane lands at Heathrow at 2 pm and the "Evening with Michael Shanks" starts at 5 pm. I'm sure we will bump into each other at the con hotel for the SG4 con. I'll be the oriental woman with the "xst" on her home-made tag around her neck! If that doesn't identify me, I answer to "Hey You!" and I'll be with a group of Danny-whumpin' fanfic writers! Or I may be by myself if I get too jangled at listening to too much "how to whump Danny, let me count the ways.....". ;) ;)

Carter! Hi!

Yes, us Canadians are the eternal welcomers and optimists! We smile at everybody. :D Why not? The world should be a friendly place.

Well, if they allowed a 'whingeing Pom' to join, I don't see why they wouldn't allow an Aussie!!!

Xst, I will look out for you at SG4, but I have a feeling the place will be stowed out with Danny Whumpers..... In fact it's a Danny Whumping con isn't it?

Carter...... you see? It only takes some scintillating conversation from an Aussie and a Brit and you have a working thread!!!

LOL......

:D :D ;)

Anni, I was the one with TEETH! :rolly2:

ROTFLMAO.......

Ooooooh! yeah..... well nobody's gonna forget that in a hurry are they?

:D :D :D

I still can't think of that without feeling a little gaggy.....just imagine if you'd swallowed it and it stuck!

I couldn't work out if you were brave or just drunk!

LOL LOL LOL.......

I'm not sure that MS will give you the same opportunity and I don't suppose that AT has any chest hair.... !!!!!

   :D

Actually, I was stupid!! I should have asked for a hug!! Much nicer and not oh-so-controversial! or embarrassing! But I went along with the spirit of the event and got carried away! Which is not usual, by the way.

No, I don't think that MS will be providing a similar opportunity! Darn! And I agree with you about AT! :D :D

But, nothing happens when you swallow a little hair. Just a little extra protein for the digestive tract.:rolly2:

Oh, my!

I was thinking about joining in on this tread, but I'm not really sure what the topic is anymore

Amarican here and we like smiling a lot too :D
