Heathrow convention

Hi i`m Caza and i`m looking for anyone going to the Heathrow convention i`ve never been to one before and would like to meet anyone going as i`m going on my own is there anyone from west midlands going maybe we could meet up please be my friend

I think there's a few of us Caza....... My name is Anni, as in my posting name and I come from Hampshire. Another I know of is Lib from Cornwall. She and her husband will be there and we've arranged to make contact on arrival at the hotel. She knows quite a few of the German contingent who are going too!

well seeing as so many of us are meeting up its, not just one club lol...i'm inviting any lost souls out there, come along and meet up with us....sg-1fans, believers, majordavies, goddessess, this fourum....and those not belonging to any clubs at all.....

point being...i've been to a few cons.....not of the stargate varitey. and up until now have gone alone. While i'd enjoyed them It would have been nice to be a part of something....or a group so we could have a laugh and that...

so, if you feel like you could hack some time with us....me...

come and join us in the bar at the begining of the con. And the night of the cocktail party. We're only in it for the fun...so lets all have fun.

Well I for one would be delighted to meet up with all of you.... I am a total 'convention virgin' - Never been to anything like this in my life, although by the time the Wolf con happens I will have attended Gatecon. So I guess I won't be a virgin any more.
I don't have tickets for the cocktail party and was just intending to prop the bar up while everyone else got to mingle with the guests. I'm in the same position with Gatecon too. There are functions for those who have VIP tickets, but I decided to go too late to be one of them. I can't even attend the Sekh's Party because I will get there too late. I am flying into Vancouver via Dallas where I have a meeting to attend and a presentation to make. My decision to attend Gatecon was a very late and hurried one. I have a job interview in Vancouver on the 25th September.

However, I have made sure that I have from the Friday thru Monday morning for the UK con. So I should be quite relaxed!! My full name is Anne Selby and I am booked into the hotel for the duration.

Thanks for the invite, I really do appreciate it and am delighted to accept. I am really looking forward to meeting all of the people I have both argued ferociously with and joked around with. I am really looking to have fun with a lot of great people. I'm not really bothered about the rest of it!!



It's a second interview so it's just a case of the PTB in the company saying that they want me for thecontract. If I get the final yea, then I will be in Vancouver for about three months in 2002 to take part in a project which is just getting off the ground. This might extend or even continue later in the year.

We shall see.....

But hey we should start to think about booking tickets and hotels as otherwise we will not be going anywhere...apart from maybe to press our noses against the hotel windows to see what is going on:evil:
