Sorry, Teal'c... I have no idea why it's not working. I'll try PM'ing iit to you.

As for 'Counter Strike'... I've heard good things about it. I may get a chance to try it after GateCon in Sept. when things calm down a bit more for me and before I have to kick into 'Writer's Frenzy' for the upcomming year's fanzines.

As for 'getting out and playing'... there's a group of us folks [active and veterans] who get together and 'combat paint ball'. No limits sets: weather, temp, terrain, what-have-you. One of the best weekends we had were two man teams for 40 hours - capture the flag and bring the enemy CO back alive [no one said uninjured, just alive]. Raining like a bad mother, colder that all get-out [I live in Western Washington about 3 hours south of where SG-1 films a lot of their outdoor location shots so we share the same weather]. Had 4 2-man teams against their command post, staff and misc. [about 18 on their side]. I lost my team mate early on to a sniper in the woodline [a great 400 yard shot with a paint rifle] and got taken out myself around 1330 Sunday: I caught the two covering the road, but missed the one covering them. It was a rightous shot.

But... I'm getting a bit older now and running around in the boonies doesn't have the attraction it had when #1: they were paying me to do it and #2: I was younger.

I'll probably have to stay with comp sims...
