I actually did have a CO like him. Major Davis [yes, really]. Really cared about his people, not afraid to stand up to protect them. Wicked and twisted sense of humor which had me in stitches most of the time.
And a major hunk. 10 years later and I still remember him clearly.

You find ones like that and you cherish the experience. Or an NCO like that, for that matter.
When I hit 'rank' [E-8/MSG] just a couple of weeks before we deployed to 'Desert Shield/Storm' I drew on the memories of every man and woman who I had ever honestly enjoyed serving with to try and be the best NCO I could in conditions my unit was never trained to face [1000 bed general hospital not designed to be deployed into area of operations]. I went from being a Wasdmaster with 14 staff [O&E] to the Assistant Cheif Wasdmaster of the entire hospital [370+O&E].
Those role models got me and my 'kids' [Boy, how I can relate with Jack calling the team that] through some pretty trying times and got just about every one of them home again and in one piece. [Yeah... 'just about every one'. Happens. Didn't like it then and still don't like it now. Not one of those things you can ever train for...]
I just hope that, before my 20+ was up, that some one saw me in that same light. Than I'll know my duty as an NCO was truely done and done well.

I thought I was the only one with a thing for his hands!! Are hands supposed to be sexy?? Hmmmm....
And the coy smile...with nothing else...yep, I could get into that....
Other than that.....besides the obvious butt worship, I love his hair....as I said earlier, I can only hope that my hubby ages so well!! <fingers crossed>

My spouse has a lot in common with Jack.
His real first name is Richard. His initial are RDA. He used to be in the air force. He's going grey in the same pattern. Same sense of humor.
And he has such wonderful hands. I don't know why I have a thing for men's hands.

Well! certainly his eyes. They're so profound, full of passion ...
And his hands!!! Thoses long fingers........ yes, I most have a thing for hands too!!!! Guess that's not so rare!
And That scar. THE scar! Anyone knows how RDA got that one? A hockey stick? ouch! But what I love the most is his smile! That boyish, cute, handsome, sexy smile! Just have a look at the attachement. It's my fav. RDA/jack pic. Look at the smile!!

Oh yes I would join the USAF any day if I was sure HE would be my CO!!!! No, bad idea, not my CO... the stupid regs...
And here is my tip for every of you who are still going to school like the lucky me!! Make yourself a total Jack O'neill/RDA/macgyver agenda like I did!!! When the teacher is going on about something totally uninteresting, you just look at you pictures and go on dreaming!!!!! And ShelbyS, MR September is on front page of my agenda!!!! :rolly2:
