3.15: Infinite Possibilities Part 2: Icarus Abides

Well, we're half-way into season four now (here in the US) and I think the fat lady's sung. Going over your comments again, I see some great insights.

Yes, John got clobbered on the head AGAIN at the beginning of RA, so that solves the mystery of why he's in a coma.

And this one:
In fact Aeryn after losing one John will probably either be afraid of losing another one and stay away...
was REALLY spot on. You guys finally saw Fractures, right?

And even Gizzy's prediction of the J/A scene wasn't too far off the mark... just a bit more emotional than Aeryn is our Gizzy. :D

And reading these responses to this two-parter makes me sad all over again. Thanks a LOT, guys. :(

Still, a VERY powerful and wonderfully cathartic eppy.

Claudi should have gotten an emmy (or at least the Saturn) for that waiting to see if John was still alive scene. She was all alone in that scene and was so choked with emotion, she could barely speak.

Ben said that his death scene was really hard because he almost cried for Claudi! She was just that convincing.

did any one from that scene get an award ...
it was by far the sadest thing i saw for a long time ever since i saw " THE CAMP "

would u personaly say that scene with claudia and ben was truly the sadest thing and best acted death scene u have ever saw .. i would say definate yes

It's definately in the top 10 of all time. The end of "The Champ" makes me bawl just as hard, and that was a bloody kid! Aeryn pulling the blanket up over herself and John is what really gets to me... she's SO alone! :crying:

Gotta go laugh now. Thanks again, Gizzy. :(

One of these days I'm going to create a section for "Great Insights and Predictions" of our members.

Of all the shows I've watched, Farscape is the only one that has ever made me cry. First Aeryn, then Zhaan, and now Crichton. All of their dearth scenes have been good. Not overly dramatic, but with enough emotion to pull it off.

Up until this episode I was still of the strong opinion that Crais was not to be trusted, and had not yet turned away from his PK side. However, the last few scenes from this ep. won me over to his nicer character. He and Stark make a great team too.

I like that Rygle came through in the end. I was expecting him to demand Aeryn carry him to safety when he was injured, but instead he stayed and fought. Nice development for him.

I didn't think 'Jack' would die. I figured he had something up his sleeve when he turned away from Furlow with that smirk. Obviously, he was underestimating her.

It's good to see that John has finally unlocked the wormhole knowledge. When he used that stabilizer to destroyed the Dreadnought, that was awesome! Now I can see why the PKs want to get their hands on Crichton's information so badly.

Those last moments between Aeryn and Crichton were perfect. Aeryn was strong, she didn't let him see her blubbering she just said she was mad. Both Claudia and Ben did a great job in that scene. It was a fitting end, John died saving his friends and protecting his wormhole knowledge.

I'm looking forward to see how Aeryn reacts to meeting up with Duplicate John. I don't think it will be a very good encounter.

I have nothing to add to your comments on this one, LW. This eppy just killed me. :crying:
