anyway - USA aired the wrong JAG ep yesterday - they skipped one - the dorks -- so, now i don't have the piece that comes b4 the one that was on yesterday - argh! morons --- but anyway --


Highlander was something i picked up right about the 3rd season -- came in late, but only b/c i had never heard of it -- no one promoted the series and the movie came out when i was 10 (yeah, mom and dad are gonna let me watch that one -- actually, it would have been - neither of them wanted to see it, so there was no way i was gonna see it -- parents suck - anyway) --

but - since then - i've been hooked -- and there's always just been something about Connor that i liked -- he was in the 1st ep (didn't know he was the 'original' at the time) but there was just something about 'sir Lancelot' that caught me! -- so, Connor sticks, and then Methos came along --- gotta just LOVE him!!!

and the rest is history!!

I saw the 1st film first, in fact i saw all three films (not seen the 4th ever) and after that I heard about the series...
It is always scheduled terribly over here.. most epsidoes I;ve only seen once. For ages it was on late at night once a week in a slot that got pushed around regularly. Only now I've finally caught up to the end of S5, still no S6. Wathced some of Raven as well, but it was lacking....

well - Highlander isn't airing at anytime over here now -- no Series, no Raven, nothing - just the movie that was on the other nite -- that's it ---

good thing i have the eps on tape --- so, i've been going through them lately --- watching one ep at a time - and actually WATCHING - no fast forwarding, nothing --- and paying attn b/c i've been taking notes --- i just finished watching "The Sea Witch" yesterday -- so, i'm inching toward half-way through season 1 --

well - right now -- gotta get back to work ---

haven't checked lately, but it's probaby on here too -- sci fi isn't that altered around the country ---

not that i wanna watch Raven - b/c i didn't like it much --- but it is at least, Highlander -----

I watch Raven cuz....... well......ok I'll admit it I think Nick Wolfe is cute he's the only reson I watch

what i don't get is, see, i kinda like Amanda, but i can't stand the Raven -- probably one of those 'the PTB screwed it up so bad that it's not even the same character anymore' things --

I don't know if you know much about the Raven but one thing that I found weird is that MacLode tryed for like 200 years to get Amanda to give up her life of crime and Nick know Amanda for a few months and she's pretty much given up crime. Isn't that weird?

well i think she had kinda 90% quit her life of crime thanx to Duncan...

but she was still thieving around even toward the end of the series -- the Methusela stone -- i think there were some things in season 5 (not that far yet, so i don't remember) -- but she was still stealing stuff --- she'd maybe 75% given it up --

and you say Nick comes in and gets her to give it up pretty quick? okay - that's just stupid ---


and i still wanna know where all the other 'major' characters in Amanda's life disappeared to ----

there was such potential to develop her character and relationships w/ the other immies from the 1st series --- from HER pov -- like - HER feelings about Duncan, and HER reactions, etc to Methos -- all that stuff -- but they didn't do that --- the PTB are so stupid ---- they focused on the wrong elements!

( i may sit down and watch the Raven -- let me know when they're starting the series over again so i can watch from the beginning)
