after the last episode you can understand why that temporal person guy was so upset about janeway. Though of course it is a bit weird that they let Janeway go back in time to rescue her self and this is ok but when the end up on Earth in the past someone comes to correct the mistake.

good point maybe they don't think it's okay, we haven't heard form the Temporal people yet. Maybe a ship will come to try and take them back and that could make a really interesting movie!

When was Picard offered a promotion. ???

Maybe I was confusing him with Riker, I'm sure he was offered a promotion to captain but turned it down. And maybe Janeway only got the promotion because Voyager was a big news story after the Dominion war and starfleet thought that if they gave her a one it would increase morale.

IIRC Picard was offered a promotion to admiral way back in season 1 of TNG, by an admiral friend of his who wanted backup from Picard against the alien conspiracy/takeover thingy which resurfaced later in the show....
