More Enterprise Cast Leaked

More casting details have leaked out for UPN's upcoming Enterprise series. The TV Tome Web site reported that longtime Star Trek: Voyager supporting player Steven Dennis will portray an Andorian named Tholos, joining Deep Space Nine actor Jeffrey Combs.

SFX magazine, meanwhile, reported that the show will feature a recurring character, nurse Nancy Struthers, to be played by an as-yet-unidentified actress. And the Enterprise U.K. Web site reported that the crew will also include a dog, Capt. Archer's (Scott Bakula) companion, Porthos.

Porthos rocks!!! He's got lines, looks and people appeal. He has more expression than Spot, Data's cat. Tally-ho, Porthos!

and well - about the Dog and his food -- he ate cheese in the 2nd ep -- tho he's not supposed to -- so, i suppose he has his canine nutritional supplement

Spot is an odd cat.

We hardly ever see him for episodes at a time, when we do he changes colour. When Worf looks after him in "Phantasms"TNG he suddenly becomes energetic and his stomach gets much whiter -- unless Worf accidently killed him and replaced him.

It even changes sex from a "She" in "Phantasms" and earlier, to a "He" in "Force of Nature"TNG and after.

When "she" is pregnant in "Genesis"TNG Data takes him for a prenatal examination with Dr Crusher. (Is the Vet sick?) Then he turns into a Lizard.

But the best bit is when Kirk is killed and the Enterprise is destroyed in "Generations", but everything is OK again because the important thing was that they found Spot!

If only Porthos has such and interesting time aboard his ship.

The "Ode to Spot" is IMHO one of the all-time best Trek moments -- I put it in the "Data" thread in the TNG section already.
