Why is Krycek better than Mulder?

I'll start with the fact that he looks a lot better in black leather

*snickers* I forgot all about that part of that movie...and I still think that the only reason Mulder could win is because ..

1) he's the hero

2) He's in the show a heck of a lot more


Does anyone else think it was a massive mistake not putting Krycek in the movie?
