Book5: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

WOW I've finished the book, only took me 5 days on and off. Am shocked about the death. :crying: Fantastic read tho, thoroughly enjoyed it!!!!!!!!!!

annette :)

i read it in a day. i thought it was really sad, the fact that he died, i couldn't believe it. poor Harry :crying: :(

Book five was awesome! Just finished reading it today seeing as my sis just bought it , though I had to wait for her to read it first! The death was suprising and Very sad.:( ;) :D:crying: :blpaw:

did any one else think that this book dragged on in parts a little to much, i love harry potter and all, but it just seemed that sometimes JKR could have done without some parts:(:rolly2:

I think that Book 5 will be a little more simple to make into one movie (there is talk that Book 4 will be made into 2 movies). It's true that it (Book5) was longer than The Goblet of Fire, but in terms of a movie Book4 had more "big" events to cover. Book5 seemed to be a kind of turning point story. Harry is now more aware of what is going on and his view of the "wizard world" has expanded. I think that this will help to change the tone of the next book.

I also wonder (on a side note), what is the Quidditch team line-up for Gryffindor going to look like in Book6? What will be the story with Percy? Will we get to see an exchange student? Could Dumbledore himself teach Defense Against the Dark Arts (that would be cool)? Will Snape ever chill out? Who is going to teach Divination in Book6? Will Hagrid ever learn that some creatures are just 2 dangerous?

ive actually started to hear rumors that snape will at least become civil with harry in book 6, although i cant see him ever changing his veiws towards harry, it may happen:rolly2:

Hey! That book was so cool! I wish that ThAT person hadn't died!! I read it in 18 hours, It came out here, Ireland, at 10.30 pm, on friday the 20th. So I got a headstart. It's a small town, so the guy openned his shop a bit earlier than he was supposed to. My friend and I were outside the book store for 3 hours!
It was a great book, it got me depressed for a while there.

And Tuco, i totally agree with all your questions, and I can't wait to find out the answers!

why did it get u depressed?

so does any one think that fudge will remain minister of magic?:rolly2:

Lets hope not, he made a right mess of everything in this book. Who else would take over the job?

annette :)

i have high hopes for Arthur Weasley or some one else we know from the last two books:p:rolly2:

Hadn't thought of Arthur Weasley. Who else are u thinking of? Mind had gone blank, been a while since I read the last two books.

annette :p

well i actually cant think of any one else right now, because the likely person would be Dumbledore, but it seems more likely that he will stay as head master at least as long as harry is a student, Arthur Weasley just seems like th only other choice i can think of right now, any one else got any ideas?:rolly2:

now percys back on terms with his parent maybe percy???

~hands every1 who did the crying smiley a tssue~

erm Griffindor line up....

keeper: Ron

Chasers: Ginny
(other 2 to be decided)
People who hit the bludgers (minds off today)
(to be Decided)
Seeker: Harry

no chance, even thought percy ahs risen through the ranks of the ministry, by most likely kissing a lot of rear ends, he is still way to young and unexperinced to be minister, it would never happen:rolly2:

I Agree fully with you on that matter! Percy the Minister of Magic? Never!

It will be interesting to see who becomes the Defense against the Dark Arts Teacher. Maybe someone from the Order?  :blpaw:

avoiding book spoilers no longer! It's out now if you haven't read it then for Shame!

Okay what can I say besides... New Fave of the Series! with the exception of the death scene, it was beautiful!

Book spoilers below Read them at your will:
-No boring repetion with the dursleys. Beautiful.
-Mrs Figg bless her soul.
-Dudley almost getting his soul sucked out and harry saving his pudgy behind. again beautiful.
-The way Lupin and them gave the Dursleys the fake award note. he-he total classic!
-the Hearing with Dumblydore as Lawyer was oh so beautiful.
-Luna Luvgood was well he-he Brill. I wonder about what will happen with her character next.
-Ron as keeper... he-he also beautiful in it's own way.
-Harry Saving Aurthur was amazing I almost thought that he was the one who was going to die and then I was like Yay he lived!
-the fireworks from Fred and Geoge were oh so inspiring!
-DA classes with Harry! Okay this has got to be one of my fave aspects of the whole book.
-We see Rita Skeeter once again! okay so that's not so cheerful but after meeting Umbridge I could hug Rita.
-Hermione Truley is Brilliant but Scary when it comes to curses. I mean it was so cool what happened to the tattle tale.
- And of course we finally learn why Voldemort had tried to kill Harry in the first place.

It was written beautifully and answers were given on many an aspect. In total I give the book ten out of five stars and not only both my thumbs up but the rest of my fingers as well.
