The SIMPSONS!

ehem, speaking as a representative of the top 11% of the graduating class of 2001 (sadly, it's only 11%..*sniff*)...

The Simpsons is an educational show. We watched an episode in Chemistry class once (I forget which ep). The sly references are often history lessons ("President Garfield spanked me on 2 non-consecutive occasions." Grover Cleveland was the only president to serve 2 non-consecutive terms) The ep where Homor became famous for his art showed a lot of famous artwork and artists. There is so much other stuff this that I can't even begin to go into detail.

To say that TV rots your brain is fallicy. I learned most of what I know from TV, and I'm not complaining. It was fun AND educational.

So in conclusion, the Simpsons rock.

i think that The Simpsons is one of the most educational shows on television (and that's not a dig on TV!):rolly2: I love it:p

Definately educational. For an English calss in Highschool we saw The LEnore one and the tell tale heart one cause it was all about the stories. The show touches home base several times in the education department. How anyone could think it makes a person "thick"... is beyond me.

meaghan, they are just jealous that you get the show and they don't.

Make them watch a really bad cartoon and say THAT is what made you *thick* "D

hm...ok,ill tell them that them continuely making me watch sesame St. as a kid is what made me go dumb!

watching the teletubbies seriously makes kids dumb,b/c they dont talk right and kids copy there way of talking. My lil' cousin started to talk like them when she first started watching them but we wouldn't let her watch it again till she talked right.

Barney.. he makes kids gay. He really is, forget Tinky Winkey... he is friggin Frank Sinatra compared to Barney.

And his singing sucks. If it was Godzilla, it would be a different story, because godzilla rocks.

Awwwww, dont blaze Barney! ;)

One time I twisted my ankle watching telletubbies. haven't watched it since.

I recently saw the ep of the simpsons were the new neighbors moved in you know the one where bart has a crush on the girl next door....

Ooh, Simpsons on right now. It's the one where the school is bought out to use for market research. hehehe, bart broke his coccyx

Asmiley, you mean the one where she loves Kearney, and Bart gets revenge on him by getting Moe to chase him? yeah, that's a good one.
