Did he appear as himself or just a voice over? I can't remember.

Well, at the risk of seeming like the smart ass I really am, I would say that all the voices are voice over since the actors and other famous people aren't animations.

Yes quite true. BUT Donald Sutherland appeared as 'himself' in an eppy about Jebediah Springfield and Dustin Hoffman appeared as 'himself' of sorts as a teacher.

Okay, and Mel Gibson was himself as an actor (which he really is in contrast to Hoffman's playing a character role) accepts help solicitated by Homer Simpson for changing a movie.

Also in one episode about a monorail, Leanard Nimoy played himself as an actor. Notice the contrast?

Okay, I'm going to assume you are commenting about the monorail eppy. Am I correct?
 
i havent seen either of those episodes in a long while though... Like simpsons is one atleast 5 times a day and i watch usually 4 of them and i havent seen those ones in a while
 
I'm not familiar with the network's policies, nor how local stations run the re-runs, but I can bet the local station, from which I watch the re-runs, must have a small budget. LOL I keep seeing only (guesstemation) 20 of the same re-runs cylcing over and over again. Gag!:dead:
 
I think they sometimes tend to play the same reruns over ans over again.

There is one that I haven't seen in ages!!!!
It's the one where Patty takes Bart and Lisa to an amusement park. They go on a ride (very similar to that annoying one at Disney world "its a small world after all") and Lisa drinks the water, which sends her on a bad trip! :D
 
That's one this little station hasn't shown! I want sooo much for my boyfriend to see that one too!
