I also heard Vampire Hunter D 2000 was only going to be a remake as well....... were they planning on making anymore though?

I got to see some more of the preveiw for Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust(or 2000) and its NOT a remake.New story completely (YAAAAAAAAAAAY) they also made a video game for it.
 
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is easily one of the best anime films ever made. Better than the first D.
