Great news. Thanks to constant nagging from Skip I am going to Wolf SG4. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo excited. We managed to get in before they stopped the booking online.

little con had all but disappeared into the wild blue yonder in all the excitement about SG4 and Michael Shanks.

I truly, truly cannot believe that this has all generated this kind of mild hysteria....

I think I might volunteer to help out during the SG4 Con, you never know, with my military background they might let me be his security gal! And who better since I don't have any strong feelings about him one way or the other, so I'm pretty much impartial!!!

And I wouldn't let ANY of you lot near him!

Sounds great, I was .planning on going but when i realised that the cost would be about 300-400 pounds there would be know way i could get there.

.................75 quid for single bedroom........2 nights which is 150 pounds..........plus the 60 for weekend...........210 pounds..............plus return train from newcastle to london..........300 pounds.........food, taxi.........awwwwwwww all too much! im so damn sad!

They should bring it up here in Newcastle Theres a good arena it could be in :-D

what train were you planning to travel on? The Royal Train in first Class?

Have you ever heard of Apex fares (must be booked seven days in advance of travel), or Super Savers and Savers, (restricted travelling during Off Peak times.i.e. you can ONLY travel in off peak times!)..... all of these, especially the Apex fares are a damnsight cheaper than the normal return train fare. British Rail won't tell you about these voluntarily, you have to ask.

Yeah I did think about looking around for a cheaper hotel as I will drive up to the con...but that means I won't be able to drink or anything like that all weekend...so I think Im gunna stay in the heathrow park hotel
