The Enterprise Theme Tune

The tune is on line somewhere.... i will find it and post the link

i like the song -- i just don't like it as the theme for a Star Trek show -- it doesn't fit, IMO -- i don't understand why they didn't write something similar to what was used for the other Trek's -- i know they want it to be different - but it can still be in the same 'vein' as the others ------

I like the song!

I don't have a problem with it, and I think that it will grow on me.

‘Enterprise’ Theme by Dianne Warren.
Performed by Russell Watson.

It’s been a long road,
Getting from there to here,
It’s been a long time,
But my time is finally near,

And I will see my dream come alive at last,
I will touch the sky,
And they’re not gonna hold me down no more,
No they’re not gonna change my mind,

‘Cause I’ve got faith of the heart,
I’m going where my heart will take me,
I’ve got faith to believe,
I can do anything,

I’ve got strength of the soul,
No ones gonna bend or break me,
I can reach any star,
I’ve got faith,
I‘ve got faith,
I‘ve got faith,
Faith of the heart.

I love it..... were did u find the lyrics .... been looking for it

*Hate* it. Totally inappropriate, imho. When hearing it I feel like I should be standing in a field eating alfalfa sprouts and granola & playing with Bambi. Currently 3174 sigs on the petition.

Thanks for the link.

credits are nice, the song is also *nice* but not at all trek, IMHO... doesn't fit to a Star Trek show at all, but then again i havent seen the show so i dunno if it fits or not :p but i doubt it...

What to do if you don't like the song.

(from TrekToday)

The new-style theme song, 'Faith Of The Heart,' has been part of an effort to make Enterprise stand out from the crowd. Apparently, protesters have already turned up on the Paramount lot, waving placards saying 'Love Enterprise. Hate The Song.' "We can't please everybody," the producer/ writer, Brannon Braga, said. "There are some people who love the song and there are people who think it's cheesy. They came with a petition with 1,000 signatures. But plenty of people find the song very uplifting."

But for those fans who still can't get to like the song, Braga has this advice: "Turn the volume down!"

Nice one Braga...

Sorry but i love it.... It is away from the norm/.//

When I first heard the song I thought, "What the H..." Totally not a Trek song. Like the song otherwise. Really like the footage they show but the song needs to be more uplifting like the rest.

Also I read in 'Star Trek Monthly' that it is a cover version of an old Rod Stewart song. I didn't realise that.

Russell Watson (British Opera Singer) began his musical career singing Meatloaf and Lionel Ritchie songs in Manchester pubs. (Neo and Markpud it's your fault.)

His album The Voice includes versions of Ultravox's Vienna and duets with rock stars. In the first three months of its UK release it has sold 450,000 copies.

got him right here on my desk in Canada. he's doing well.:rolly2:

His album? Who cares about his slbum, look at him, mmmm, oops sorry:blush: :hjbigeyes
