I loved the 'Clangers'. Made by Oliver Postgate, who also did 'The Saga of Noggin the Nog' (1968) - a classic, and 'Bagpuss'.

BTW: The Froglets appear and disappear out of a conjurers Top Hat. they also do magic tricks. The sideways lake of pink soup in which they live is completely different. It looks like the stargate because when the froglets dive into it , it breaks into upright ripples, waves and splashes, but it doesn't go anywhere except into the cave wall.

There was also a Iron-Chicken that lived in a nest of scrap metal, Sky-moos (blue flying cows that eat any green plants available), Cloud (which just floats and rains occasionally), Music trees that were grown from a single muscial note, and Pecker Birds that eat anything metal lying around.

Yes, very strange changing room in that clothes shop. He never bought anything either! And there was always something in the street outside that related to the experience he had had in the shop. Do you not think he was simply dreaming it all?
