WATCH OUT!!!!!

MARTY'S EXCITED !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone,
I actually started a new thread with this but have now found this thread so thought I would reply here.
I am a newbie to this forum so bear with me.
A lot of people wanted to know more about FSF. Myself and a good friend Robbie Buonaccorsi started FSF in 1996 and we are now possibly Australia's largest general scifi club. We are based in Sydney, put out a monthly newsletter and hold monthly meetings at the Lidcombe Catholic Club on the second Sunday of each month. Monthly meetings are attended by about 100 people where we catch up on the latest eps of some favourite and new shows, including stargate. (We showed the season finale in October and hope to air the season 5 opener in Nov). There are dealers, auctions, competitions and generally a lot of socialising and fun.
We have ran 6 fan run convention events in the past 5 years, mostly with Star Trek DS9 guests, although last years events with James Marsters (Spike, Buffy), Emma Caulfield (Anya, Buffy) and Brian Thompson (X Files) were the biggest events held in Sydney for some time. James Marsters had nearly 1200 attendees over 2 days.
The best part about our events, they are fan friendly.
Our monthly meetings also have guest attendees on occasions such as Marjean Holden (B5 Crusade, Beastmaster) in September and in the past Don Beis (Star Wars ep1 and 2), Kent McCord (Farscape, Battlestar 80) and a number of local authors.

Our next meeting is November 11
