What's the scariest-looking bad guy?

Who are the scariest-looking bad guys/ demons ever on Buffy? My opinion's the suited gentlemen from "Hush".

(4) In my mind, I'm never too scared by Buffy villians because I know they're just rubber masks. The Gentlemen are hard to beat, especially when that one glides past the window as Olivia (and us) are watching the Gentleman across the street.



(2) Maybe not the scariest, but the one that really made me squirm was the bug assassin from #22 "What's My Line?, part II".



(3) On the subject of scary: The biggest scare I've ever gotten from Buffy was not a monster, unless you think David Semel is a fiend. It was that director's trick he used in #042 "Lovers Walk". Cordy is seriously wounded and makes a death bed speech, then passes out. The next scene is a funeral and I AM FREAKED! I 'm wondering how they could kill Cordy in the middle of the season and why I never heard anything about her leaving the show.

Then the camera finds Buffy and Willow walking past the cemetary discussing how Cordy is going to be fine. HE SCARED THE H*LL OUT OF ME, but I laughed at how clever a trick it was for a long time, h*ll, I'm laughing now. But it was the worse scare Buffy has ever given me, for a few seconds I thought they had killed Cordy.

That trick with Cordy got me as well. The gentleman gliding past the window made me jump.
The scariest lookin 'rubber thing' was probably Balthasar.

i don't know. that giant snake monster thingy was quite cool (the mayor)

Yeah, that was an excellent monster. I'm hoping that now the show has moved to UPN the monsters will get better and more life-like, because they now have more money to do it.

cool! better monsters!!!!! do u think, if I paid them, they might let my brother me in it?

I'm sure if you slipped them a few million then they may consider it.

u really think so? cool! and he won't even have to wear make-up or anything!

The master was really good, but you could easily see that the mask was rubber.

none of them look scary. a couple looked cool. but none scary.

in the ep "hush" i jumped sooo many times i had 2 laugh at myself!! The gentlemen were pretty freaky!! but i swear one of them woz a woman!! (the one with the HUGE smile)

The GENTLEMEN, kind of tells you whether they were male or female.

i know, but one of them looked like a woman dressed up as a man!! next time you see it you have to look out for him...."her" maybe!!

I noticed it last time I looked...but demons don't have to look like men or women because they're not human.

but they have to have male and female demons, it wouldn't be........right.......ermmm otherwise

I know they have to...but they don't always have the same differences between them as humans do.

OK, take Lurconis-type demons for example (Baby-eating snake demons), they don't have any resemblance at all to humans...so they can't have the same differences.
