1.14 : Sleeping Dogs.

Just watched this one. . .

The title is apparently, a reference to the phrase "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie". As in, don't wake them up or you'll have to deal with an iritated dog. The Klingons were just fine sleeping. It was when they woke up that they became a threat.

Not a single scene of Porthos sleeping, he didn't appear at all this week.

Although, I liked it, it was another wander around a spaceship in the dark just like on the film alien episode. We seem to either get that, or wander around an alien planet that seems like a paradise but isn't. Can we have a different story soon?

What exactly did T'Pol do with Hoshi's hand? Was it meant to be a kind of 'soft' mind-meld? Was it hypnosis or auto-suggestion? Or was it meant to be something else? Answers on a postcard please!

Another Decon scene! It actually made sense here, because they had actually been in contact with alien viruses. Also, it would sure have helped the ratings to have Hoshi strip instead of Trip!

I think everything else has been covered. Except that the whisky and the unknown alien attackers weren't from Orion. It was changed from the original script in Neo's first post. I think they were Xenites or Xanthans or something similar.

Thanks Dave...

The decon bit made alot more sense in this episode and actually by the looks of it can be quite a bit of fun

Yeah it looks as tho they are sunbathing, taking in the rays when being detoxed. Malcolm looked quite fit. :naughty:

annette :D

what u like.... well they all seemd to wanna stay in there even T'Pol

yeah - i remember that scene --

come on now - don't we all feel like 'staying a little longer' in the 'relaxing' atmosphere? tho we know we should leave and go back to work? or get back to work?

believe me! if i could spend a couple hours just chillin' in the middle of the work day - i *so* would!

I finally saw this episode. I don't have UPN so I have to rely on a local channel to show it.

Something I noticed...
Archer refers to Bu'Kah(the Klingon woman) as the engineer. I don't know if she is or not, she never corrects him. But she does help get her ship running so maybe she is.
:blpaw:

I just presumed she was... not many female Klingons get to high ranking officers on a Klingon Ship ??

If it didn't acctually say so, it certainly looked as if she was the Chief Engineer. Maybe they tolerate females as engineers because the males prefer being warriors and no one wants the job?
