I had same experience with the download of Proving Ground. First time I've tried that method, btw. I had to get the "GetRight" first but then during the download --every 1-2 percent-- it would "disconnect from the server" and I'd have to click the Resume. Took over an hour and about 40 clicks. Felt like work. <g> But it worked.

If you or anyone has any tips please post them.

I have heard others mention that the problem could be with the site as well.

umm, also, with the segmented downloading with getright, are there any mirror sites we could use there or is the sg1archive the only site ?
