Umm, yeah, all downloads are "unavailable" does neone know wotz happened ?

Sorry, I'm computer challenged. I really don't know. :erm:

from sg1archive.net

Downloading Note: Sorry, but there are no files available for download at this time. You can e-mail the MPAA idiot responsible, if you wish to complain to someone. No files will be posted here for the rest of this year. I don't have time to replace the files every week, and I need a vacation. For the time being, the site will remain up only for episode info and DVD links. We'll be back with a new setup in February 2002.

Yep, it was my only chance to watch season 4 and 5. :crying:

:crying: :angryfire

At least I managed to get all the files that were up before this happend, now I'll have to wait until Feb. to get any more season 5 :(

Not Alone

Well, it's kind of nice to see I am not the only one over here stomping my feet, with smoke coming out of my ears. And then Showtime pulls the no-new-eppies-until-Feb stuff when I have to pay extra for that ______ station (I don't even have a proper adjective for it, you guys fill it in).

Not sure that Feb. schedule is confirmed but it is likely.

But I have not given up.

OK, this maybe a stupid question.... but I still don't get why the archive has lost all its files? and who are the MPAA?

BTW - Can't find the link to the Sg1archive message board, can someone please post me a link? (can't find one on the main page)

Thanks

MPAA-- Motion Picture Association of America, I think. IIRC, this group stands up for the rights of actors and producters of films to not have stuff shown without just compensation. Due to a bunch of laws passed about the Internet in recent years, providing files on a site is like to showing a film without making that compensation to the makers. Sort of like beefed up copyright protection.

i am really going to miss sg1archive im gonna have to wait for ages to see new s5 episodes down here in Australia :(

I think I've got that one on my computer still.
I could try and email it to you, though the file size would be large.

doops sorry, its "2001" I've got.

I've also got:

Enigma
Message in a Bottle
Spirits
Red Sky (5th season)
The Rite of Passage (5th Season)
Between Two Fires (5th Season)
2001 (5th Season)
Desperate Measures (5th Season)
Wormwhole Extreme (5th Season)

got every file that the archive had up before they down, so when they get back online I won't have to much to DL (well except from the rest of Season 5, which may have finished here in the UK by Feb.)

I was just there, and it doesn't say it'll be up in february anymore. apparently they're still under attack, but you can e-mail the idiot from a link on their main page. I did, and i'm gonna get everyone of my friends to get that jerk to leave sg1archive alone. you can even e-mail the asshole's boss.
