Star Wars Trivia Quiz

I know that he was a carpenter on the Star Wars set. But before that I don't know.
:blpaw:

I found this, but I'm too late:

"After deciding that acting was going to be his life, Ford, left college and headed off to Los Angeles with his new wife, Mary Marquardt, in his Volkswagen bus. Harrison had already performed in a few theatre productions, but found it incredibly hard to get work. Running out of money quickly, he took a book out of the library about carpentry. He exaggerated his expertise, and managed to find work building a recording studio. Ford discovered that he had a natural talent for woodwork, and he continued to supplement his fledgling acting career with carpentry for years to come, and still professes a love for carpentry."

Your turn Mich2Brian, don't worry if it's easy or hard, doesn't matter.

I can't think of a question right now, I've had a long day and don't really feel like thinking. So if you have a question, go ahead and ask it Dave.

I'll start out with an easy one.

What is Beggar's Canyon?

For bonus points, give exactly where it's located, and what it's been used for.

Beggar's Canyon was the the valley on Tatooine that served as the training ground for Luke Skywalker's aerial skills. Luke and his childhood friends raced skyhoppers and engaged in mock dogfights there. He also spent his time riding borrowed swoops in the twisting canyon. Was it where they had the pod races too in Episode? I can't remember exactly

You got it mostly right.

The exactness you didn't say. ;)

And yes, pod races.

Beggar's Canyon
a great place to fly a skyhopper on Tatooine, Luke Skywalker refined his piloting skills there. Located between the edge of the Dune Sea and Ebe Crater Valley, Beggar's Canyon was named for the hermits who lived there, before they were driven off by Jabba the Hutt. Situated near Ben's Mesa, the canyon was formed from a series of smaller, interconnected canyons which criss-cross the desert, including the Main Avenue, Dead Man's Turn, and the Eye of the Needle. Before Luke and his friends used the canyon, it was part of the Mos Espa podracing course. (SW, SE, IWE1)

There ya go. :)
