Well what can be said about him ????????

He's a beagle, probably not very old, 2 or 3 perhaps (dunno on this one). Stays in Archer's quarters most of the time. But he's been on one away mission.

We're waiting to see if he saves the ship one day! (hehe)

Porthos returns!

Hey! Porthos is seen prominently on "Silent Enemy". I wonder if he got a piece of Malcolm's pineapple birthday cake?

Have merged your post into this on XST as it about the famous dog...

Have you seen 'Silent Enemy'? It had some scenes with Porthos in it!

Did you guys see 'Dear Doctor'? It had a scene where Phlox is treating Porthos! Cute dog.

Names the best thing about the animal...LOL

Beagles are sturdy compactly-built hounds, conveying the impression of quality without coarseness.

They are a merry hound whose essential function is to hunt, primarily hare, by following a scent. Bold, with great activity, stamina and determination.

Alert, intelligent and of even temperament. They are amiable and alert, showing no aggression or timidity.

Porthos is named after the French Musketeer from Alexander Dumas' classic story about Porthos, Athos and Aramis.

alright dave likes beagles-anyone not clear on that? when you talk about the three musketeeres you must mention "D'artagnan", one of the coolest names in history.:rolly2:

I'm more a cat person, actually. I was looking for some more infomation on Porthos, and I took that from the online 'Beagle' site because it seems to be the same way they are writing Porthos. I expect a flood of Star Trek fans to become Beagle owners now.

Has everyone seen the best Porthos scene yet -- in 'Aquisition'!

Well well.. a cat person... mmmmm

The only problem with Beagles is the barking. They have this very distinct bark like they're dying or something. It can be very annoying.
