I haven't seen the end of Season Five, but I have to admit I was quietly hoping Sokar would return (unless you are referring to Apophis...YAWN!). It is unusual that they ditch a character for a whole two-and-a-half seasons though, don't you think?.

lol, yeah, well, your hopes might be granted, have you seen ... Well, the seaons finale, I think. Meridian. No, I wasn't referrign to him (btw, what happened to Tanith??)

About ditching for 2 seasons ... Maybe they were just stuck for plot lines!!

Last I saw Tanith was in possibly in the episode "48 Hours"

Was it him in a ship that Teal'c was shooting at that caused him to step into the wormhole too late?
Other than that he was also in the ep where he made some kind of truce with the Tollan.

I have only seen as far as "48 Hours" in continuity, I am very mad at how tv stations put shows on break over here in Canada - BBC 2's treatment of Buffy notwithstanding, UK channels generally tend to show a series in its entirety from beginning to end...

Yeah, that's the ep that I meant, I was wondering what happened to him after that. Don't think he's been in it since.

Isn't he referenced as working for next season's big bad? In the Tollan ep, I think. If so he will probably be showing up soon!

What next season? 6 or 5? Cos I'm studiously avoiding all spoilers for S6.

I mean Season 6 - but I don't think this is a spoiler, as it was mentioned throughout Season 5 - wasn't Tanih working for someone "whose name we cannot utter" or something like that?
