JAD'S random stargate picture thread

No, it's not a manipulation. It's a real photo. Apparently Chris Judge took the photo.

I was reading some fan fic by a writer named JoJo, and she wrote a fic based on the photo. That's how I came across it.
 
Amanda recently hosted the Gala awards which is an award ceremony commermerating female actors. Here's a piccy of her.

The broadcast of the awards was webcast and went for about 3 hours. But there is a great German Amanda Tapping site that cut it down to just Amanda's bits. It goes for about 7 minutes and is about 5MB. It's definetly worth downloading. The lady is hilarious. She is just so funny. Also, clip has a part with Jacqueline Samunda (Nurti) who is the President of the foundation that was hosting the awards. It's really nice to hear her normal speaking voice.
