I saw it last night (again) at Gold Class. It was much better the second time round. Maybe that's because the cinema I saw it at the first time (in Perth) was old and the sound kept cutting out....

its waaay to long, my mate fell asleep. its so predictable, the dudes get attacked by big ugly dudes, they win, they walk across another big mountain or dungeon get attacked by big ugly dudes, big fight scene... the good guys with har har, the end.

you should read the books. very interesting story!

I could never get into the books. Too boreing at the start.

It gets much more interesting and exciting after the first half of fellowship of the ring.

I read the first one when the movie was out, started on the second one, thought 'stuff this, I'll wait until the second movie is out', and shoved it back in the bookshelf.
