you know, i liked pru at first, but towards the end she started to get on my nerves. she could never do anything wrond. and i'm not spoiling anything here because it was like the last year and a half. anything wrong she did was totally forgivable. even when it shouldn't have been.
 
i think i made the point in some other thread, that Prue likes to think she's strong and can hold her sisters, her love life, her work, her self and the rest of the world together, but she can't really. She makes plenty of mistakes. As for being forgiven, when do we hold anything against the Charmed sisters for very long? :D
 
you got a point there. but the sisters seemed to be able to hold things against each other. well, actually they really seem to be able to hold things against pheobe, not really anyone else. i don't know, in some ways i think the show's kind of lost it's sister reality. they get along waaaaay too much to be sisters. i mean, they get annoyed with each other sometimes, but they never get really mad at each other anymore. trust me, i have a sister and we get mad at each other plenty.
 
yeah, i agree with you on that one. (i have two sisters!!!!!!!!!) And we argue all the time. I guess the show just couldn't do that always cos it would slow down the stories, if they never agreed on anything! :D

I liked the ep where Piper (after getting marries) kept on getting annoyed that her sisters never gave her any space.....that seemed real.
 
yeah, but i guess when pru died so did a lot of the conflict i guess. you need some sort of long running problems. she always had a problem with how careless pheobe was, but piper never did. she kind of had a problem with the fact that her life never seemed to work out but piper's did. and when piper's didn't, she was allowed to fall apart, but pru never was. when she left, so did both those problems. now we're left with what? paige getting jealous? come on!
 
i guess i'll just have to wait for series 4 before i can make a choice.
 
well i think she was having problems with the rest of the crew (and of course with Alyssa). I'm sure she had her reasons for leaving. Doesn't mean i won't miss her though. :D
 
she was also starting to have drinking problems again, and i have heard rumors that her place on the show was kind of conditional on her not letting alcohol become a problem again. i don't think her departure was entirely voluntary. i think aaron basically forced her out, but he's always really nice about his actors leaving. it wouldn't surprise me at all if he forced her to leave, but agreed to say that she chose to leave for the sake of her career. he still denies that there were any problems on the 90210 set.
 
well alcoholiosm is a serious medical condition - she should definetly get some help for it. But maybe we shouldn't be so harsh or quick to judge.
 
if it was like she just now developed the problem, that would be one thing. but over the past 10 years this woman's DUI's could be made into a book. it's not like she doesn't know she has a problem. and quite frankly i have no sympathy for anyone who drives drunk. i had a friend killed because she was in the car with a drunk driver. you wanna destroy your life, that's fine and dandy, but when you start endangering others........
