Bring on the bloopers DVD!

In fact, bring on the Region 1 DVDs in general! September is too far away --- and that's just for Season 2.

Your welcome Tatter, I just re-watched it too and it does have a nice behind the scenes section hosted by RDA and Brad Wright, with interviews of cast and production team, not quite bloopers but casual moments of them goofing off, they show you how they do some of the effects and stuff, then at the end is a short section from the con with interviews of more cast and other guests as well as fans too. I hope they do that again this year, that'd be great if they had some more stuff from each con on a special DVD or on one of the regular DVD's. That would make me want them even more. There is of course the official CD ROM of pictures from Gatecon that are great and the videos. I have both of those and love them, there's so many great pictures and the 2 part video is just fantastic!!!! If you're looking for some fun, casual moments with the cast of the show buy the stuff from Gatecon, it's the best!!!!! It's seriously better than bloopers, I've seen blooper reels the studios have put together and most only have a few great bloopers, the rest is a bunch of scenes put together to try to be funny and candid but sometimes aren't. The con footage is real, funny, honest, hysterical, laugh after laugh of true emotion and comedy skits. It doesn't get any better than this. Watching them try to answer questions, make up lines to heiroglyphs, drop their pants, tell funny stories, sing and do stand up for us, it was truly the best con ever. I really should be getting paid for all this advertising. Anyway, It's totally worth it and if you want laughs, you'll get them. Later!! SS

Yeah, want to be able to buy all seasons on DVD here now!!!! But at least we will be able to see them all on Sci-fi again, so set your VCRs, I will, and you better believe I'll still buy the DVDs if they include lots of extras and keep the price down. Party on!!! SS
 
ya, here comes s2 this weekend, It's the only season (except half of 5) that I've seen exclusivly on a little tiny screan on my computer. Finally get to see it on the telly, damn straight I'm taping it & buying the DVDs...;)

is that the current gatecon dvd from 2001? did you get it from the con or their website???
 
Vancouver. I wasn't into Stargate when S2 was on tv. For the past year only 2 channels have carried Stargate & that's only been S3 S4 & S5. Check 6 has been zipping through S1 the past month or 2 (2 or 3 eps a week) & is about to entre into S2 (might be next week, can't remember. I programed my vcr)...thanx to unline tv listings I'm set to go:rolleyes:

Hi Tatter, I got the con video for Gatecon 2001 through the website and I bought the set of videos and photo CD so it was cheaper. It's definitely worth it. So much fun was had by all it was an incredible weekend. I also have the video and photo CD of Gatecon 2000. They do a great job on all their stuff. I recommend it all very highly. SS
 
Hi, well, go to the Gatecon homepage and there should be info on the videos and CDs. For the first years stuff you may have to email them and ask if they have any left. As for cost, it's 45.95 american for the 2 video set and the photo CD from Gatecon 2001. Have no idea what 2000 would cost. It's a good deal considering how much work they put into it. Has anyone noticed that MGM is still the official website for Stargate? Shouldn't it be with the Sci-Fi Channel now?
 
i think MGM is still officially the producer of merchandise for seasons 1 to 5. that might be why....
 
I would LOVE to see a bloopers episode! Those are always great! I think every show should air a blooper episode after their season finale every year. That would be soooooo cool!
