Here I am watchin Captain Scarlet an all and suddenly it hit me.Captain Scarlet may just be the freakiest thing ever to walk with string:eek: Have you ever noticed that Captain Black may just be a poor guy who just needs some sleep and Captain Scarlet is the evil one with his red evil overcoat and fancy hat. Just look at the resembalance to the devil,why does he look scared in the pictures at the end that he might die when he knows damn well he's indestructible!!!!!!!!.He may just be fighting an advert for the olympics and someone with a deep voice of one that sounds like your worst nightmare:eek: :eek: :eek: You have been warned so who agrees with me :eek: : :angryfire

PD, I was tempted to vote the final option.
That is one weird post :lol:

But no I voted for the second one - I love Captain Scarlett, I think he was much cooler than thunderbirds. I think I remember watching a program about all these marionette shows, in which Gerry Anderson was tqalking about how Captain Scarlet didn't work as well because the marionettes' dimensions were too real - the big heads on the thunderbirds were much more popular!

Mysterons made me freak out when I was little too :eek7:

I preferred 'Thunderbirds'.

I could never work out why Captain Black became a mysteron agent, Captain Scarlet became indestructable, but the other agents just got shot at. Wouldn't they have done better with an army of Captain Blacks?

Did you ever shine torch lights in the dark?

Well, it was when I was very small. I was the eldest in my generation and my teenage uncles used to scare the pee out of me (sometimes literaly) with flashlights and the "woooooOOooOOooO" noise they made :eek7:

One thing about all the Jerry Anderson productions, though, was the fact that they had very intelligent storylines. If you replaced the puppets with humans, you would have a fairly decent programme that would give many of todays offerings a real run for their money.

Although I liked Captain Scarlet, I'd still have to say that Thunderbirds was my favourite. The fact that these shows are still as popular as ever is a testament to the creative skills of the Andersons and I am pretty sure that they will still be around in another 30 years! :)

Never really like 'Captain Scarlet' that much, 'Stingray' was better, but for me it has to be 'Thunderbirds'! :rolly2:

I see the likeness, but Scarlet is the better actor.

:lol: :lol: :lol:

You definitely have a point there ray.

There is a new Thunderbirds being made at the moment, isn't there? I wonder if they could bring Captain Scarlet back as a live action show?

Here's a website that has all the info you'll ever need on Captain Scarlet. :D

So, anyone remember the names of the Angels?

Destiny, Harmony, Rhapsody... I've forgotten the other two.

And the Agents all had the names of colours.

I had a toy car -- the M.S.V. -- but I really wanted an S.P.V. No idea what the abbreviations stand for (Spectrum Patrol Vehicle?? possibly)

Of course I remember their names! ;)

Symphony, Rhapsody, Destiny, Melody and Harmony. :cool:

S.P.V = Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle. :)

M.S.V = Maximum Security Vehicle. :)

Check out my link, Dave, it has all the answers. ;)
