Which ship is destroyed in "Contagion"?

annette :)

It would indeed. Your turn!! Pity others don't join us but tis still fun. Waiting with bated breath for the next question :D

annette :flash:

I think its only a matter of hours. Commander Riker jumps to mind. Guessing 12 hours.

annette

Higher!

(actually, now I'm not certain if my source is correct on this one, but you have the correct episode, and it certainly said exactly how long the new host would take to reach Enterprise - so I will take that as the minimum time.)

I'm going to let you have it, because I'm generous ;)

The book "Star Trek: The Starfleet Survival Guide" by David Mack says "nearly 72 hours". I thought that it had taken that figure from an episode and that it was Canon, but now I'm not so sure.

In the episode "The Host" TNG, in which Riker pulls the lucky straw, it says that the new host will take 40 hours to reach the Enterprise. So yes, it was only in Riker for 39 hours!

(That doesn't mean that he couldn't have had it a little longer if necessary though.)

Sorry, for such a rubbish question!

Hehe no worries Dave, at least I was sort of close.

What is the Rhomboid Dronegar Sector?

annette :)

The Rhomboid Dronegar Sector is a volume of Federation controlled space; a LY³ (light years cubed) Sector of space. Sectors makes up a Sector Block, which in turn make up a Sector Quad. Sector Quads make up a Sector Grid, which in turn make up the four Quadrants of the galaxy.

I don't know exactly where it is, but it is probably in the Alpha Quadrant. The Enterprise D went there to answer a distress call from a Pakled ship "Mondor" in 2365.

:D

I'm finding it increasingly hard to come up with new decent questions.

What does Data occasionally ingest to lubricate his biofunctions?

(this was asked in last weeks Hailing Frequncies #286, if you want to cheat the answer can be found in Hailing Frequncies #287, but you wouldn't do that!)

nutrient suspension - A semi-organic sort of "food" in a silicone-based liquid medium. Though he required no food, Data occasionally "ate" this to lubricate his biofunctions.

annette :)

I didn't look at the episode but its amazing what you can find out on the internet these days LOL  ;)

What did the episode "Time Squared" mark the first appearance of?

annette :)

It has something to do with the double Picards.

annette ;)

nope, fraid not. slight clue - it has something to do with transport ;)

annette :D
