Back to someone's quote "Anti-matter" well actually it has absoluting nothing what-so-ever to do with a wormhole. Anti-matter (on its own) cannot destroy anything, any more than matter can. Only when Matter and Anti-matter are combined does anything significant happen. Maybe that is what you are trying to say.
Also it is just a TV show, and if you think of the millions of things that the writers have to think about, you have to hand it to them, for keeping it quite technically true. Also they did have a Astrophysicist and US Air Force advisor for the show, to help keep it real as possible.

I was assuming that any anti-matter would be coming into direct contact with at least equal amounts of real matter, hence the bang...
