Just reread my Johnny comics. My goodness how did Nick ever let Johenen do invader zim anyway. I mean look at his comics does his material look kid friendly to you?

Yes squee is delightfully funny. I always invisioned that some cable channel would have an entire block say of two hours on saturday night devoted to underground comics. They would bring back IZ with new episodes and then feature other cartoons like Squee or Lenore. No anime, just american made cartoons. I think there would be an audience for somehting like that.

My mother was watching the end of contact today and I said if I had to do a movie comparison for if the Earth was invaded/first contact it would be Signs, Independence Day, and the Arrival (actually I was more thinking of Contact then I realized it wasn't like the other two) Invader Zim being an alien invading earth sort of thing got me questioning why people liked thatkind of theme. I think the answer is that we like the idea of everyone uniting for a greater good eg; destroying a common enemy. Its sort of a quick fix to world peace. Maybe I am wrong and that the only reason people like alien invasion theme is that its so cliche. Still at the end of the day I would really like to see the unity portrayed in thoes movies except without all the destruction.

I like invader zim cause zim & gir are the cutest lil cartoon things ever ^_^ Also li if you don't like anime i'd advise you to stop posting there really honestly you don't need to put it down every five seconds some people enjoy anime like me..
