Season 7 a go?

I knew -0- about CM before he showed up on SG-1. and then I was flipping the remote and "The Stand" is on, and guess who is there playing the bad guy . . .

I haven't seen "The Stand" but now I check it out next time its on. I always like to see how an actor plays the bad guy. Most actors will tell you that playing evil is lots more fun than playing good.

Personally, I'm feeling now is not the time to stab Stargate in the back with such comments. Who is or isn't in the cast shouldn't ruin the show if they pull some good plots out and bring back the exploration stuff...

Some are pushing for the salvation of "Farscape," others for the return on "Dark Angel," and I have only the time to fight for "Stargate."
Perhaps we should form the Union of Intelligent Science Fiction Fans and pool our resources.

I was not familiar with Nemec before he appeared in SG1, but his credits as listed on IMDB.com are impressive. In every way he appears to be an excellent choice given the circumstances.

GREAT posts, guys! I TOTALLY AGREE.

I was thinking...

Has MS find another job? I think that be co star in SG wasn't as bad las make auditions over and over. I think his departure was premature, he wasn't consolidated as star yet and the path is rough.
RDA is a star but is gettin old. I read that he will make a little participation in Macguiver the movie. What a pity.

So, be on SG is still a good choice in these times when great series are being cancelled (what happens with these people???).

The show will ends sometime, it's obvious, but now I think that it is very strong to that and the film can works with the show on air, like X files. All they need is money and with this ranking it's not so difficult.

Talking about X files, I think the show break down because CC had lost himself and the history. Besides RP wasn't good choice for replace DD.

I am very sorry for Dark Angel and Farscape, if there is a group for save this series, please tell me. I want participate. But STARGATE SG1 still has so many histories to tell and it's all about the history, NOBODY IS IRREPLACEABLE UNLESS BY THE WRONG PERSON.

I fell sorry for MS, I like CN work's and I hope RDA can stay but the show must go on!!!!

Corin Nemec making a good guy

Try Parker Lewis, is VERY funny and intelligent. He was great!

Here in Brazil, Sony still has it on air.

Just like CN is not MS's replacement, RP was never DD's replacement. It's a mistake to think so. I grew to enjoy RP in the eps I chanced upon. And again he had a highly respectable movie career of his own. So quality was in his past, too. I think in Jonas' case the show writers don't know exaclty how to work with his character for fear of the MS fans bringing the blow torch to bear on them.

I wont write of any changes to the cast for a future series, how its done and who they choose are what matters. When I heard that Duchovny wasnt going to be in the x files anymore I though it would be a disaster but I like Dogget and he fitted in well, then when the last series didnt have much of Scully either I wondered why they were bothering, but again the doggett/reyes combo made a good one and the show got back to its roots with unusual x files instead of just conspiracy stuff. I ended up enjoying the last series more than a couple of the previous ones. Its a shame they didnt carry it on, I think they could have created a lot more strange x files to be discovered. But I digress, this is stargate forum not x files, lol. Point is there are still so many worlds they could discover in the universe and questions left unanswered that I dont think a new team would be a problem, if introduced slowly and carefully. After all in reality a colonel may well retire and a major may get offered a promotion in a different area, and new people would step into the job.
