Could have been a developed bio-weapon...? Could it also have been a mutation, or even natural development of the species in the face of attempted extermination of their original form?

maybe its a mutated ferni from the Nox's world? The G. found out they don't have the abuility to turn invisible so they mutated them instead & sent them to that other planet to reek havic just for fun...
 
There was a cool little CG-creature in 'Demons'-someone (can't remember who) pulls back a bush to look at the village and this six legged, lizard-like creature hisses at them. Well, I thought it was a cool creature...:blush:
