"You Shall Not Pass" Is there a more iconic scene in the ENTIRE Lord of the Rings series? Proof positive of why Gandalf is the only character who i enjoy in every scene, and one of the very few characters who's characterisation Jackson didn't butcher.
Weathertop was exactly how i'd pictured it when i read the books originally.
the entire Lothlorien sequence... another perfect adaptation. Galadriel's power is evident, her strength too. The more than just wood elven nature coming from the Galadhrim is magical, and Jackson did an excellent job in later presenting the Mirkwood Wood Elves so very differently.
((will add tho that i despise Celeborn and Marton Csokas is possibly one of the most insipid actors i've ever had to endure, he pollutes good movies... Celeborn is essentially a non-character for the whole series, and isn't he supposed to be on the White Council too? and Cirdan? why aren't they in the first Hobbit movie? time and introductions i understand, but they could at least have been there))
