the couple of times i've bought stuff, i went ahead and did the 'buy now' option. paid a couple of dollars more, but no last minute refreshing either.

of course, that isnt always an option.

I got a spot on the set auction for a friend by sitting by teh puter, hitting refresh every 30 seconds

Its fine for all you Yanks out there waiting for your pleasant mid-evening deadline for the auction - spare a thought for us Brits (and other Europeans) for whom this is the early hours of the morning, mid-week, with school/work the following day...

And yes, the prices were too high for this poor Reetou.

Hi there! Most of the costumes in this auction were left over from Gatecon, i.e., they ran out of time on Saturday evening for bidding on these items. So, the items are now auctioned off and the proceeds go to "Make a Wish Foundation". Happy bidding!
