Whats the Goa'uld pain stick thing called?

hmmm, now that I think of it I think I might have heard it called a Firestick too...unless that was in a fan fic...

Sorry people - I think you're getting confused about the dialogue in "Beast of Burden"....

Yes, the torture stick is used in that episode, and the term "firestick" is also used.

But - it's used by Burrock to describe a staff weapon, when he finds that the P90 he's stolen from Jack empties after shooting a full clip at the caged Unas. He comments that the gun is effective, but not as good as a firestick since it runs out (of ammunition). {Or words to that effect.}

I don't think it has a name. Was watching one of the newer eps this weekend (can't remember wgich one, S6 though), Jack calls it "that Thing" when the G or jaffa or who ever it was was approaching him with it & then zapped him...oh I think it was in "The Other Guys" episode...(I was thinking about this thread when I saw it).
