As for the much-rumoured scripts and plot bunnies all I will observe here is that Shakespeare is an awful read. Yet the plays in the hands of a good production team; adopter, producer etc.

I have problems with this version of Battlestar Galactica, but I shall watch and record it.

Battlestar Galactica is a Universal property, this is as big as Dune cost wise. Unlike Stargate (MGM) or Farscape (Henson) the Scifi Channel is doing Battlestar Galactica 2003.

Some various Trek & other scifi actors names were floated, by TPTB @ Scifi? They are not telling.

Remember Ron D. Moore got his big break doing i think he was hired by Michael Pillar, his ST:TNG, ST: DSNine, is pretty good stuff. Less than great was ST: Generations (Kirk was killed) Movie.

I'll bet he wanted to distance himself from Trek, ergo no Trek alumni.

Ps. Ron D, Moore's script, it was posted on The Scifi Channel's Battlestar Galactica board: http://battlestarfanclub.com/battlestar/bgarticle26.htm

Oh Ray, I love to read Shakespeare.

Oh my, I am now taking bets on when the first trek alum shows up. Those people get everywhere (perhaps something to do with very few of them getting steady roles post-Trek?).

I would be glad to see no familiar faces at all, it can be hard to not see the former characters in guest stars...

Admitting you are going to watch it, DVO?
I think you must be mellowing in your old age! ;)

I really doubt there will be any regulars, guest or otherwise, from the Trek stables. Universal has its own stable of cheap rent-a-mob guest stars.

So perhaps we have the space for a game of guess the guest?

Ray, I am a well known pro-continuation guy.

This mini needs to do well.

I know via email some people working on BSG lite, one via ASciFi

Glen Larson and Tom DeSanto may do a movie, I got this from Richard Hatch.

If Scifi's little show to maintain the franchise works out do you want see the first eight episode scripts?

If the scripts become available then I would like to give them a read, Thanks!
