Most Scariest/Treatening Creature

So for those of us who haven't read the bestiary, what is a nundu?

from the actual books... hmmm i'm not particularly scared of spiders...so a giant one wouldn't be much more scary than coming face to face with a tiger or a polar bear. Snakes don't frighten me either, so the basilisk would be frightening sure, but not as much as other things... granted being Australian it takes an especially deadly snake or spider to alarm me since we have by far the most venomous of both... I think i'm on hagrid's side in regard to most of the monstrous creatures, theres a beauty and an admiration possible for all of the monstrous beasts.
Personally i'd have to go with something that was vaguely human shaped... people are much more scary than monsters... Dementors, Boggarts by default, and Voldemort too would be by far the scariest, at least to me...

a giant leopard that breaths disease and death lives in east africa. it has wiped out intire villages and no nundu has ever been brought down by fewer then 100 wizards working together, its all in the link above my last post

Sorry, I didn't see the link until now. Maybe I had a bout of wrackspurts - invisible things that float in through the victims ears and makes his or her brain go fuzzy. :D

I love how Rowling incorporates magical creatures into real life - I mean, a giant leopard that spreads disease in Africa is actually believable in its own way. If anything, that makes it scarier.

i'd say acromantulas are more scary than dementors - you can fight against a dementor but acromantulas are not only fast and big, but they have thick skin that you can't spell....like dragon really, only uglier...having said that...you could become a dementor if you hang around with them for long enough, acromantulas can only kill you
