2.26: The Expanse (S2 finale)

Think I can do without big set piece space battles, after two or three they will become as dull as the pap we already have (or even more so).

What we have been left with is the possibility of something that can be built into a good story. As long as it is built on week on week, the challenges they face are aimed at the single goal of preventing (or prosecuting) a war and they remember that they are doing it.
There is space for space battles, just as there are for discoveries and strategic withdrawals.

As for the last battle in this show. Why not just call Enterprise's evasion technique a loop and not an 'L2'?
I suppose it is better than an 'Evasion Manoeuvre Epsilon Gamma!'

:p
Right. What was that one evasion technique called??? "Kirk" something? I forget what show and what series but I remember an evasion technique with "Kirk" in the name.

My desire for good space battles stems from my all time favorite TOS episode... "The Neutral Zone". It was one of the best space battles i've seen. Very submarine warfare like. Another good one was in Wrath of Kahn in the nebula. We saw some good wrecked ships in that one too. Good scenes. I hope they can give us some good battle scenes.

As for the balance between space battles and "discovery" and such - I agree. But, I hope they give us good space battles when they come up.

Got to agree with most of you guys... This was a poor episode and a great let down for a series finale !! Come on enterprise you can do better

Actually it can I saw this in the episode where they found the ship from the future and everyone and their brother was after it. One of the better episodes I think very action packed. The series finale was blah on the emotional scene. For once you saw archer get really mad over something and vengful. I wish there could have been more ephasis on the lossof life. Could have done without the bounty hunter element.

Looking at a slightly different side. We had the last of the humanising of T'Pol as she finally tells her Vulcan masters to go twiddle. Wonder if that will bring some interesting side shows later?
