Wondering....

I said I'd say when my shop was updated... Well it is now officially open! I've got camo gear with a twist, convention wear and funny slogans. T Shirts, Teddies and Bags with more to come.

Because I'm selling it I can't do anything that infringes copyright, but I think you'll find a few things to enjoy...

weather and stuff

I also wanted to point out that they keep the hotel freezing so if you tend to be cold or get cold easily then bring sweaters and jackets just for being in the hotel. And yes, the weather outside can change very quickly, especially in the mountains. I live by the cascades and close to sea level in Everett. We can have sun, rain, hail and sun again all in one day, not kidding. The mountains tend to block up the clouds and then they build up and release all the water they've stored up and it gets windy from being so close to the ocean so it can turn nasty quickly. Not trying to scare anyone like Rowan said too, but be aware, it's the start of fall and the weather is unpredictable. One year it rained almost the whole con, so bring rain gear and a sweater or 2, or buy one there, they have lots of cool stuff and the exchange rate is pretty good now.

Well, that's it for me. Later, Kim/SS

Thanks for the tip. I'll remember to pack some jumpers (sweaters). I feel the cold easily despite the fact that I live in a very cold town. Go figure.

temp.

One thing some folks notice when they visit out here: our cold seems to really sink in. I'm sure it's becasue of the humidity - we're right one the water and the humidity doesn't drop off until you're on the other side of the mountains. Over here, 45F feels pretty cold to me but on the other, dryer side, I can handle 30F and below without too much problem.

This might be the same with you.

But hey... we're green as all get out. ;)
