Gundam Wing RPG!!

Suddenly the com system got switched back on. "Hullo." Cal's slightly embarrased voice came over the speakers as the video section continued to fritz.

"What did you do to this shuttle?" Ivalia demanded. She had had a rougher time of controlling it ever since the first light had blinked.

"I um... well I fixed it." The video screen popped up and Cal appeared, scratching her head amusedly. "Wouldn't have been a problem if you had left the phone on in the first place." Cal stuck out her tongue at Ivalia.
 
Ivalia stuck her tounge out at Cal also.
"You should stop 'fixing' things ok...What is it that you need to talk to me ANYWAYS?"Ivalia rolled her eyes.She was glad Cal had called though,even if she was acting annoyed.It gave her a reason NOT to go back and see what was wrong with Duo.She felt mean but after the last few days the last thing she felt like doing was talking about where they stood with easch other.
 
Cal glared at Ivalia. "I just wanted to know how it went. You were in and out within four hours... thats kinda a short time."

Ivalia had just opened her mouth to voice a scathing reply before Cal interrupted again. "Did you at least manage disable Gundams 02 and 04 completely? You reaaally don't want OZ to get its hands on their systems..." and Cal trailed off, her fingers tapping her chin thoughtfully.
 
*sweatdrop*Ivalia scratched the back of her head."Oh **** oh **** oh ****,"She thought.
"Well ya see Cal...I uh....kinda...."
"Forgot?You forgot didnt you?"cal said angerly
"Um...yeah but I think Du-chan and Q have self destructy things...they usually do,"Ivalia said,mentally kicking herself over it.She had been so happy over finding Duo and Quatre that she had completely forgot to check on Deathscythe and Sandrock.
 
Cal raised an eyebrow. "They had better still have them. I can't fix this problem. I could make them frustrated beyond belief, but I can't do **** if they create a whole seperate system for all research from dissecting the Gundams, which they will probably do."

Ivalia met this convoluted sentence with an exasperated look. "We'll take care of it, okay?"

"I certainly hope so..." Cal grinned and then commented "Hey I gotta be silent for a while cause the Maguanacs came in here looking for something. Think they finally caught onto our trail. Cal, signing out." The vidscreen went dead.
 
Ivalia laughed slightly then went to the back of the shuttle.
"Duo...Q....I gots a question for ya,"She forced a smile.The two of them looked at her in confusion.
"Ya see...theres the little problem of your gundams...they're kinda at that OZ base we just left,Do you by any chance have the little self destructy things?"She asked.
 
Duo & Quatre both gave her a weird look. "Self destructy things?" Quatre asked giving her an odd look. He shook his head. "If you mean our self destruction devices.. I have mine located back in the maguanacs base.. since I figured oz may get a hold of it..." he said shaking his head sadly. Duo looked down. "Well my self destruction device is hear with me.."Duo said quietly. He took it out from his pocket & pushed the button quickly.
He stood up then he dropped the device to the floor. "I'll take the shuttle to the maguanacs base since I am the best pilot to get us there without getting noticed.."Duo said, he figured no one would really care as to what he said. So he went up front & he began piloting the shuttle. He yawned tiredly. "Ivalia... why do you hate me so much.. I need to find out why.But i'm scared to ask. I really don't think I can live with you rejecting me."he thought sadly.
Quatre looked at Ivalia quietly for a moment. "Ivalia.."he started. He then turned his head away. "Hmmm Quatre are you ok?"she asked. "Well not exactly.. not after all that has happened.."he said sighing softly. Ivalia put her hand on his shoulder. "Is this about Angel.. if it is I haven't heard from her in awhile.. she sort of ran off.."She said to him. Quatre shook his head slightly. "No it's not about her.. I know she'll be fine without me.. but well.. why are you being so cold to Duo. I saw you turn away from him."Quatre said sadly. He couldn't understand why his two best friends who were so in love.. were so distanced from one another. He looked at her waiting for an answer. But she basically kept quiet for a few minutes. Quatre poked her in the side. "Ivalia... answer me.."he said angrilly.
 
Ivalia sighed.
"Quatre...I don't know what to do anymore...I can't really get close to Duo or I'll put him in danger,this whole thing happened because of the last time he tried to call me"She said.
"what are you talking about?"Quatre asked.
"My house...the entire thing was completely bugged,I never knew untill yesterday,but they must have tracked you two down last time Duo called me...before he knew I was in OZ,so this whole thing is really my fault...and now Angels missing,which is also my fault...And I just screw up everything for those around me...it would be better for duo if after we got back he just ignored my existance,"Ivalia said sadly.She hung her head,hoping her hair would hide her tears from Quatre.She quickly wiped them away.
 
A strange girl's face suddenly appeared on the vidscreen and started talking. "Bogie coming up at...."
Duo stared at the screen then interrupted her. "Who the hell are you?!"
"Hey you aren't Ivalia!"
 
Quatre stood up & wiped her tears away. "Ivalia.. I don't blame you for any of this. Duo was the one to call your house.. he knew you were in oz all this time. So if he had any sense at the time.. he would have never tried to call you.."Quatre said quietly. He sighed & lowered his head. "Please.. just go talk to him.. you don't know how little time you may have left in this world. Just think Ivalia.. if Duo died.. tomorrow what would you do? He's all you have isn't he? So you'd go on the rest of your life not ever telling him how you feel... Do you honestly want to keep it that way.." he said sadly.
Duo looked at the girl on the screen scaredly. "Who are you? How did you get on my screen?"He asked giving her an odd look. The girl smirked & played around with his head for a bit. Duo hit the computer angrilly. "Damn it who are you?!" He yelled as he began to lose his patience with her.
 
Ivalia sighed."Fine Q...I'll go tell him,"She muttered as she made her way to the shuttles cockpit.She went in to see Duo yelling and hitting random parts of the computer.She heard someone else's voice and leaned over Duos shoulder to see Cal on the video thing.
"CAL!!!!!!heY!"Ivalia smiled,happy she could put off her and Duos little talk for another little while
 
Cal wiggled her fingers at Ivalia. "Hullo!! Didja know braidboy here wasn't letting me talk to you? So I felt I had to mess around with his head a little bit...."

Ivalia chuckled, but Cal's face grew serious. "I called cause the Maguanac systems are detecting a major bogie reading at about 4 o'clock. I think there are mobile dolls there and that the EMP fields they use as shields are spiking or malfunctioning or something, cause the electrical readings are going insane. Just thought you might want to know so that you could avoid that area..."
 
"Ok....thanks Cal...don;t know what I'd do with out ya!"Ivalia said.She smacked Duo upside the head."Ya think you can follow those orders boy?"she asked,giving him a disaproving look.She loved him,but he could be such an idiot sometimes.She laughed when Duo nodded scaredly.She sat down in the seat next to him. "uhh...Duo...we should...uh...talk?"SHe said,suddenly getting nervous.
 
Cal raised an eyebrow. Talk? A huge grin spread across her face as she realized she had left the comlink on. Now all she had to do was not get caught and if she did blame it on having to hack.
 
Duo looked at her trying not to sigh. "Ok if you want to talk.."he said looking deeply into her eyes. Hoping she wouldn't think he was to stupid. He gently took her hand. "Well... you see Ivalia.. I well really.."Duo started ,he was blushing brightly. He went to tell her once again. But realized that the communicator had still been on & Cal was listening to the whole thing. Just as he was about to tell Ivalia how he felt. He smashed his fist on the controls killing the link. "Don't be watching me,while i'm trying to tell her how I feel!!"Duo yelled at the computer angrilly. Ivalia laughed at him. He hugged her tightly. "Ivalia.. i'm sorry..."he whispered softly against her ear.
Quatre sat in the back not really listening to them,just deep in thought. He looked out the shuttles window & began to think of Angel"I wonder where your at now.."he whispered softly to himself. "I'd better go to see my father soon.... to get my mind off of her.." he thought.
 
Ivalia was a bit shocked when Duo hugged onto her since he was never really huggy at all,but then leaned into him.
"Sorry for what Du-chan?I don't understand?"She said,looking up at him in confusion.She heard the comlink making strange noises behind her.She laughed slightly,knowing how ****ed Cal would be when she got back.Both for having her fun ruined and for cutting off the cominucations.
 
Cal was mumbling a running commentary on her end of the line. Just to give you a sample...

"...stupid idiots you'd think they'd know how to muffle it or turn it off again or whatever but **** man he didn't have to hit the damn thing and almost blow my brains out honestly I'd rather keep my hearing and its not like they weren't going to just profess their love for one another I mean you can tell they are so why are people so incredibly blind to each other even I can understand people better than computers but noooo Cal has to always be working on the computer end jeez wonder what my bro's doing now he's probably drinking or something stupid git..."

(it continued on in this vein, but all that could be heard through the somewhat... broken... comlink was her louder mumblings and protests. She, however, could hear none of their whisperings.)

And so the running commentary continued, as she worked to route through another speaker. But its kinda hard to do that when the machinary controlling the switch had been *slightly* smooshed.
 
Duo sighed. "I'm sorry for everything.. all of this is my fault.. for me & Quatre getting captured.. your running to oz...Angel's god knows where.. & Quatre will probably never find her again.."Duo said sadly. He stared down at the floor sadly. He rested his head on her shoulder. "Where are you going after here Ivalia? Are you going back to oz? Or are you going home?"He asked quietly. He turned the com link completely off,trying to get rid of Cal's jibberings.
Quatre soon fell asleep in the back of the shuttle,not really much else for him to do.
 
Ivalia sighed.
"I certainly can't go back to OZ...not after the comotion me and Cal caused trying to find Angel and get to you guys,but I can't exactly go home either...I have no idea what to do"She said softly. She really was at a loss of what to do.She knew her old house wouldn't be safe any longer and now she was faced with having to hide Quatre and Duo for a while.
 
meanwhile, Cal, who was completely not hearing any of this, got bored and started singing.

"Oh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner...
that is what I'd truly like to beeee"

suddenly voices came from the hanger. "I think I heard something over this way..."

Her eyes grew big.... "****" she breathed.
